About Estuary Court Chambers
Welcome to Estuary Court Chambers, the Chambers of Craig Tipper. Craig is a barrister called to the bar in 2018. Before then, he was a solicitor for almost a decade specialising in both Family (Public and Private Children Law) and Criminal Defence.
Estuary Court Chambers accept instructions from solicitors and directly from members of the public for hearings throughout the South-East of England (including Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Kent, London and East Sussex) in all aspects of Children Law (Public and Private Law) and financial proceedings.
Chambers offers its services to solicitors and those regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under the The Standard Contractual Terms for the Supply of Legal Services By barristers to Authorised Persons 2020 (as referred to in r30.9c Bar Standards Board handbook).

Craig regularly appears in the family courts, including the High Court in relation to his family practice and has also appeared in Crown Courts and the Court of Appeal in relation to his criminal work. Before transferring to the bar, Craig was a solicitor and a director of a law firm specialising in family law.
Craig is often instructed in Children Act matters involving difficulties with contact, domestic abuse, safeguarding issues, children presenting with unexplained injuries, parental alienation, and where there are overseas elements, including relocation cases. Craig also has experience in the High Court for applications made in relation to child abduction.
Craig also undertakes finance work arising out of divorce proceedings, ensuring his clients receive fair settlements.
Craig is known for his effective advocacy, attention to detail and ability to quickly build a good rapport with clients.
Craig is qualified to accept instructions from members of the public, referred to as 'direct access or 'public access'
